Breastform Size Guide

Latest News

I have just added the Amoena Energy Breast Forms to the range.  These provide the highest level of temperature control of any Amoena forms, and contain a number of unique features to help manage your body temperature.

Trulife have just introduced a new version of their Connect (self Adhesive) breast form.  I have not yet seen a sample, but the literature seems to indicate it is a big improvement on their last effort.  Perhaps a serious contender for the Amoena Contact range.

I will let you know as soon as I have had a closer look.

Trulife Breast Forms and Prosthesis

The Trulife Breast Forms collection

Trulife are an American owned medical products company, and are one of the largest manufacturers of silicone breast forms in the world.  Trulife forms are actually manufactured in Ireland, and are one of the main breast prosthesis supplied by the NHS.  They have a huge range of products, but I have narrowed down the selection to, what I believe, are some of their best products.  Many of these are unique in the market.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THE SIZE OF YOUR TRULIFE PROSTHESIS AS THE SIZING DIFFERS BETWEEN MODELS AND TYPES.  CONSULT THE FITTING GUIDE FOR EACH PRODUCT OR USE THE SIZE CALCULATOR.

Duette

The Duette range are really the starting point for anyone looking at a Trulife prosthesis as they feel extremely realistic.  They are called duette as they use two forms of silicone: an outer realistic feeling silicone, and a lighter weight inner (the same as is used in the Silk range).  The lightweight inner silicone makes them 15% lighter than if they had been made completely from traditional silicone. This gives them a "full" weight, a very realistic feel, and they have a nice matt / skin like feel when you touch them

Silk

These forms have been designed especially for ladies who want a lighter weight breast form.  They have a lovely skin like feel when you touch them and are made of a soft supple silicone.  This enables them to imitate breast tissue, contour to the body and gives them a natural looking drape.  They are 35% lighter than traditional silicone, making them easy to wear and very popular.

Silk Plus

The Silk Plus range is made of exactly the same light weight silicone as the Silk range.  The difference is that the underside of the breast form (where it is against your chest wall) is made of a "conformable" silicone.  This means it can be moulded and shaped to fit exactly over any irregularities there may be on your chest, ensuring a perfect fit.

BodiCool

BodiCool is a new patented introduction from Trulife.  They have been specially designed to address over heating when wearing a prosthesis.  The underside of the breast form has a number of raised gel pockets which contains a proprietary silicone blend.  The gel is designed to draw heat from the body, and the raised nature of the pockets allows air to circulate - making them feel a lot cooler than conventional breastforms.   They are also made of the same lighter weight silicone as the Silk range.

Trulife Swimforms

As with most manufacturers Trulife have a small range of swimforms.  They have a firm but light weight design, and can be used in both salt water and chlorine.  These are now my favourite swimforms, they represent great value and are really well packaged and presented.   I particularly like the Calypso model, as its shape allows it to be worn with a fairly straight cut swimming costume.

Feather Weight or Foam

Trulife also produce a range of foam breast forms.  These are light and soft enough to wear immediately after surgery, and are also suitable for wear while resting, sleeping or exercising.
